Since Dr Ojo joined this institution, he has contributed effectively, in various capacities, to the academic, social and general growth of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University and the community at large.

Dr Ojo’s research work has been on markers of oxidative stress evaluating the ameliorative effects of plant extracts and drugs on stressful tissues. Oxidative stress have been implicated in the etiology of numerous common diseases especially diabetes mellitus also, am working on placenta and hypertension on pregnancy, placenta is known to be central to the etiopathogenesis of pre-eclampsia. His research currently focuses on the histomorphology and immunohistochemistry of the clinical condition.
